Mission statement

The mission of the Faculty of Maritime Studies Rijeka is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest international levels of excellence.

The Faculty of Maritime Studies provides education in maritime affairs at three levels, encourages a questioning spirit and an investigative approach to learning, teaching and research, and offers a wide range of academic subjects.

The Faculty encourages mobility and lifelong learning programmes, and fosters partnership with local and wider academic and business community.

Our vision is the continual creation of the academic environment which encourages the appreciation of high standards and the pursuit of excellence.

We aspire to be recognised as the leader among maritime institutions by providing curriculum with dedicated teaching and research.
